Scott and Meredith Layton opened Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop just a few years ago, and they take pride in their family’s recipes and traditional baking methods that they use in their pie shop.

With classic and specialty flavors, Buttermilk Sky Pie is the perfect place to grab a pie or three for any event, gathering, or just for yourself.

Try flavors like Southern Custard (Buttermilk), Granny’s Apple, Chocolate Cream, Key Lime, Peanut Butter Cream, Coconut Cream, Chewy Chocolate Chip and the I-40, which includes pecans, chocolate chips and a sprinkle of toasted coconut in a pecan pie filling. Seasonal flavors also rotate and Spiced Pumpkin is available right now in the spirit of fall.

Peanut Butter Pie

Belhaven’s newest sweet shop is serving up baked goods, coffee and craft beer, and, of course, sweet and savory pies.

The small-batch bakery is owned by Jackson native Cody Cox, who formerly served as the general manager at Cups’ Fondren location. He and his co-owner (and spouse), Molly West, prepare freshly baked pies and other sweet treats daily.

Seven Layers of Sin Pie

Geraldine and Esma’s Kitchen – 1492 Canton Mart Road, Suite 1
The same folks who brought you Crazy Cat Eat Up now have a second endeavor, Geraldine and Esma’s Kitchen (in the former Cookin’ Up a Storm space).

The authentic Southern cuisine includes casseroles, meatloaf, and other goodie and that includes pies. On any given day, you can find flavors like Blueberry Pie, Three Tomato Pie, Milky Way Pie, Buttermilk Pie and Seven Layers of Sin Pie – graham cracker crust, coconut, butterscotch, chocolate chips, toffee, pecans and sweetened condensed milk.
