Music Tourism Convention is coming to the ‘Birthplace of American Music’ in 2020, hosted by the City of Cleveland, Mississippi, home to the Grammy Museum, and Jackson will serve as a host International Arrival Destination at Jackson-Evers International Airport.
Overnight lodging will be available to delegates in Jackson, along with pre and post familiarization tours to experience Jackson’s music and Civil Rights experiences.

Music Tourism Convention 2020 by Sound Diplomacy, will have 300+ delegates and 40+ speakers from all over the world, two days of talks and evening receptions, as well as extra sightseeing opportunities. The talks will be a mix of panel discussions, presentations and roundtable sessions around the use of music as a tool for tourism, including branding a location, developing local and international partnerships, driving economic development, increasing footfall, creating the best conditions for music tourism to thrive, as well as best-case examples from cities and countries around the world.
