Jackson’s own comedy improv troupe brings you and your friends an evening of side-splitting fun and games in their new show. Admission is $10 per person CASH at the door. Seating is limited, so first come, first served. By the way, this is not a Scrooge’s event, The Royal Y’all explains, so, please don’t call the restaurant to ask about times and tickets.

Codetta South, Stonewalls and Cody Cox live at Offbeat – Friday, 8 p.m.
Two local singer-songwriters (South and Cox) and a rock band (Stonewalls) play Midtown’s culture and comics shop. It’s $5 at the door.

CAPE Art and Coffee at Mississippi Museum of Art – Saturday at 10 a.m.
The Museum’s Center for Art and Public Exchange (CAPE) hosts this weekend slow-down with fellow art lovers in a casual morning learning space. This month, Rukia Lumumba will discuss her work as a community activist dealing with the school-to-prison pipeline and healing the relationship between communities of color and law enforcement. This event is free and open to the public.
