WellsFest Art Auction 2021 – Duling Hall – begins Tuesday

See the art in person on Tuesday, Sept. 21 from noon to 7 pm at Duling Hall and register to bid during the online auction. Bidding opens at 5 pm. on Tuesday and closes at 5 pm on Saturday. For more information and to register to bid on art, visit wellchurch.org.

Tech JXN 2021 – Jackson Convention Complex, Mississippi Museum of Art – Thursday – Friday – Saturday

TECH JXN is a three-day event spotlighting the four major sectors of Jackson’s economy: Technology, Education, Creativity and Healthcare. It will feature speakers covering topics related to each of the economic sectors, a virtual reality workshop, a film academy and separate film showing, a Jxn Indie Music festival pop-up, multiple town halls, a college Fair, professional development workshops, and two career fairs (municipal & corporate).

Saltine Flight Night – Saltine Restaurant – Thursday 4:30 pm – 8 pm

WellsFest 2021 Benefit Concert – Virtual – Thursday 7 pm

Don’t miss performances by three of Jackson’s most popular music groups – Chris Gill, The Jackson Gypsies and Barry Leach with Patrick Harkins and Raphel Semmes. The benefit concert will be livestreamed on both WellsFest’s Facebook page and at wellschurch.org.

Soul-Filled WeekendMississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium – Thursday – Sunday

Visit Jackson and the City of Jackson present the Soul-Filled Weekend with two college football games at the core of multiple days of activities. Jackson State University will play Delta State University for the annual WC Gorden Classic and Mississippi Valley State University will challenge Southern University (Baton Rouge) for the Delta/Bayou Clash. Whole Hog Roast Benefit BBQ – Urban Foxes – Saturday – 11 am
