Crosstown Brewing Co Beer Dinner – Sal & Mookie’s New York Pizza & Ice Cream Joint – Monday – 6 pm
Sal & Mookie’s is kicking off the holiday season with a beer dinner with five courses, and five amazing Crosstown Brewing Co. (Memphis) beers. You’ll be tasting Crosstown Brewing Co.’s all-time favorite brews – including their seasonal Crosstoberfest – and enjoying Chef Dan’s always creative and tasty menus. 12Ks for the Holidays – The Cedars – Saturday – 7:30 am
The merriest race in town is back at The Cedars this year in person. A fundraiser for the Good Samaritan Center, 12k’s for the Holidays Charity Run is a 12k run, 5k run and 5k walk that winds through the beautiful historic residential areas of Fondren. Race proceeds support Good Samaritan Center’s 2021 Christmas Assistance program. Register here.
Holiday Open House – Two Mississippi Museums – Saturday – 11 am
Join the Two MS Museums for book signings, food and beverage samplings, artist and maker meet-and-greet opportunities, and shop holiday specials at the Mississippi Museum Store–including a 10% discount on all merchandise. Museum members will receive a 20% discount on store items. This event is free and open to the public. Face masks and social distancing guidelines are required.
SWAC Classic – MS Veteran’s Memorial Stadium – Saturday – 1 pm
It’s senior day at the Vet as JSU Tigers takes on the Braves of Alcorn State University in a game presented by GM and Pepsi. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.com.
Boosie’s Birthday Bash – Mississippi Coliseum – Saturday – 7 pm
Performing in his second home at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson this Saturday, Boosie Badazz is joined by Yung Bleu, Lil Duval, Coi Leray, Nocap, Rae Sremmurd, Webbie, Lil Ron and Mohead Mike. Tickets are available.
