Planting season is here, and the Mississippi Nursery and Landscape Association is ready to outfit your yard at the Garden Extravaganza, March 19 through 21, at the Mississippi Trade Mart on the state fairgrounds.

Vendors serving garden and patio needs – flowers, trees, landscape professionals, garden accessories, yard art, ironwork, pottery and more – will be on hand. Find Mississippi Medallion Award Winners, succulents, ferns, trees, shrubs, roses, bedding plants, vegetables, herbs and more to brighten your space for spring.

Show times are Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20, 9 am-5 pm, and Sunday, March 21, 11 am-4 pm. Admission is $7 per day for adults with free parking, and ages 15 and under are free.

Not sure which plants you need? Experts will be available to answer plant and gardening questions. Bring pictures of the area or container you are buying plants for and know the amount of sunlight and shade it receives, all important to know when shopping for plants.

For convenience, shoppers can place purchases in the show’s holding area. When finished, drive around, and the loading team will load your vehicle for you.

Precautions to keep vendors and shoppers safe include masking, hand sanitizing stations throughout the show and space for social distancing.
