Highland Village Hosts ‘Friendsgiving’ Nov. 13

Join Highland Village’s second annual Friendsgiving on Friday November 13.
The evening officially kicks off the holiday season and is a chance for the shopping and dining destination to support Canopy Children’s Solutions in an effort to shine a light on mental health in the community.
The 1993-themed fun will include games, soups from Highland Village eateries, s’mores and pies, libations and live music by Aa’keela & The Beats, as well as a special holiday art reveal from some of Jackson’s most talented artists.
In keeping with official local health guidelines, Highland Village said capacity is limited and all guests are required to complete a contactless temperature check and wellness questionnaire prior to entering.
“All patrons must wear a mask or face covering when entering and moving throughout public areas,” the release said. “Hand sanitizing stations will be available and staff will be sanitizing and cleaning surface areas throughout the evening. When interacting with others outside your party, a safe distance of six feet is also required.”
Tickets, on sale now, benefit Highland Village’s “Share Hope Weekend” with all proceeds benefitting Canopy Children’s Solutions.
This is a 21 and older event.
